Speech Therapy
Speech and language pathology is the study and treatment of human communication and its disorders. Speech-language pathologists work with the full range of human communication to evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly. We Need to Talk and More! therapists create custom treatment plans for each child. Family, caregivers and therapists are an integral part of the therapy plan and considered important team members. Our services are provided in the home or community where natural interactions, speech, language, and communication occur. Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists (OTs) are part of a team of professionals and parents/caregivers who identify and meet the needs of children and adults who are experiencing delays or challenges in development. Occupational therapists help their clients participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (Occupations) by identifying and addressing barriers that interfere with functional performance. OTs provide parents/caregivers with resources and skills to use in the home/community. Occupational Therapists work with children and adults living with a wide variety of conditions and can address skills impacting function including the following:
