Occupational Therapists (OTs) are part of a team of professionals and parents/caregivers who identify and meet the needs of children and adults who are experiencing delays or challenges in development. Occupational therapists help their clients participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (Occupations) by identifying and addressing barriers that interfere with functional performance. OTs provide parents/caregivers with resources and skills to use in the home/community.
